What an Incredible Weekend at the National Equine Show!

Wow… what a weekend!

The National Equine Show 2026 was everything we hoped it would be and more. It was such an exciting opportunity to bring NB Equestrian to a huge audience of horse lovers, riders, and pony-mad families.

From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was amazing. The show was buzzing with people exploring stands, meeting brands, watching demonstrations, and of course enjoying everything horsey.

A Wonderful Spot in the Kids & Hobby Horse Area

Our stand was right near the Hobby Horse Arena, which meant we had a constant stream of young riders and pony lovers visiting us throughout the weekend.

It was absolutely brilliant to see so many children getting excited about riding wear, pony-themed clothing, and of course meeting the Dreaming in the Meadows ponies. Watching little riders choose their favourite pony from the herd was definitely one of the highlights!

The energy around the hobby horse arena was fantastic and it really showed just how much the next generation of riders love being part of the equestrian world.

Seeing Products in Real Life Makes Such a Difference

One of the biggest things we noticed at the show was how much people enjoy seeing and touching products in person.

Some of our riding wear pieces that had been quietly sitting on the website suddenly became favourites once people could pick them up, feel the fabrics, and see the quality for themselves. It was such a lovely reminder of how important real-life events are for small brands like ours.

Meeting So Many Lovely People

The absolute best part of the show was meeting so many wonderful people.

We spoke to parents with pony-mad children, young riders just starting their horse journey, and experienced riders who simply love beautiful equestrian gear. So many people stopped to chat, ask questions, and tell us about their ponies.

Those conversations are exactly why we love doing what we do.

What We Learned

The show also gave us some really helpful insight into what riders and families are looking for. One thing was very clear:

There is a huge love for children’s riding wear and pony-themed clothing.

The response to the Dreaming in the Meadows collection was fantastic, and it’s definitely inspired us to keep developing more ideas for our Mini Riders Club and young rider collections.

Events like the National Equine Show remind us why we started NB Equestrian in the first place, to create something fun, practical, and special for riders who love the everyday magic of horse life.
